Abstract

This dissertation investigates the intricate relationship between Arabic linguistic heritage and Islamic cultural continuity, with a particular focus on how this interplay influences faith and identity among Muslim communities. By employing a qualitative methodology that includes interviews, surveys, and textual analyses of religious and cultural texts, the study uncovers how the Arabic language serves not only as a vessel for religious doctrine but also as a fundamental component in the construction and affirmation of collective identity. Key findings reveal that proficiency in Arabic fosters a deep-seated cultural awareness and a sense of belonging within Islamic traditions, thereby reinforcing community bonds and cultural resilience. This research is particularly significant for the healthcare sector, as it underscores the necessity of cultural competency among healthcare providers when addressing the needs of Arabic-speaking Muslim patients.
