The Emirates Scholar Center for Studies and Research collaborated with the Netherlands Embassy in Abu Dhabi to celebrate King’s Day, which falls on April 27th every year. This year’s celebration took place at the residence of the Consul General of the Netherlands. 

Emirates Scholar extended their congratulations to His Excellency Gerard Hubert Steeghs, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the UAE, and to His Excellency Dr. Carel Richter, the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, on King’s Day.

Ambassador Kheirard Stieghs expressed great interest in listening to the recommendations of the International Dialogue for Civilization and Tolerance IDCT2024 and in following the latest developments achieved by the Emirates Scholar Center in preparation for the upcoming edition. 

A delegation from the center, headed by Dr. Faras Habal, President of the Center and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Fawaz Habal, the Center’s Secretary-General, presented His Excellency Gerard Hubert Steeghs, with a copy of the outputs and recommendations of the International Dialogue for Civilizations. 

These rich discussions between the Emirates scholar research Center and the Dutch Embassy reflect the importance of cultural exchange and cooperation between the UAE and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, further strengthening the strong bilateral relations between both countries.
