How to prepare and submit a manuscript to our journals.
Please read these guidelines before submitting. Following them helps your manuscript move smoothly through review and reduces avoidable delays.
Before you submit
Make sure your manuscript is a good fit and ready for review.
- The work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- The topic fits the aims and scope of the journal you are submitting to.
- All authors have approved the manuscript and agreed to its submission.
- Any required ethical approvals and consents have been obtained.
Manuscript preparation
Structure and format your manuscript consistently.
- Include a title, abstract, and keywords at the start of the manuscript.
- Organise the text into clear sections with descriptive headings.
- Number figures and tables and refer to each of them in the text.
- Use a consistent, recognised citation and reference style throughout.
Submission requirements
Prepare the files and information you will need to submit.
- The main manuscript file, with figures and tables placed or clearly referenced.
- Full names, affiliations, and contact details for every author.
- A short cover note describing the contribution and its significance.
- Any supplementary data or materials that support the work.
Publication ethics
We take research and publication integrity seriously.
- Submissions are screened for plagiarism and undisclosed reuse.
- Authorship must reflect genuine contribution to the work.
- Conflicts of interest and funding sources must be declared.
- Data and methods should be reported honestly and reproducibly.
Submission checklist
- Manuscript is original and within the journal’s scope.
- Title, abstract, and keywords are included.
- Figures and tables are numbered and cited in the text.
- References follow a consistent style.
- Author names, affiliations, and contacts are complete.
- Ethics, consent, funding, and conflicts are declared.
