Our review process
How submissions are assessed — fairly, independently, and transparently.
Every manuscript is evaluated on its scholarly merit through independent peer review. Here is how a submission moves from arrival to decision.
Independent, criteria-based peer review
Manuscripts are reviewed by qualified referees who assess the work against clear scholarly criteria. Reviewers make recommendations; editors make the final decision, and their decision is based on the quality and integrity of the work rather than its source.
We aim to keep the process constructive: feedback is intended to help authors improve their work, whatever the outcome.
