Emirates Scholar Delegation Meets Dr. Husain Burhanuddin to promote Religious Research

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – A delegation from the Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies, subsidiary of Emirates Science and Research Foundation, met with Dr. Husain Burhanuddin, provost of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah & head of the Saifee Burhani Charitable Foundation. The meeting took place as part of an academic visit aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fields of scientific research and religious studies.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the importance of moderate religious education in promoting human values and building communities rooted in tolerance and understanding, as well as exploring opportunities for future academic and intellectual collaboration between both sides.

Dr. Husain Burhanuddin praised the pioneering role of the United Arab Emirates in supporting moderate thought and advancing scientific and humanitarian initiatives. He noted that “the UAE has established a unique model in embracing intellectual and religious diversity, contributing significantly to the foundations of peaceful coexistence and societal harmony”.

The meeting concluded with a shared affirmation of the importance of enhancing collaboration between research and religious institutions to promote pathways for moderate religious education and develop knowledge-based approaches that support building more conscious and tolerant societies.
