Emirates Scholar Delegation Meets UAE Education and Technology Sciences Attaché in Cairo to Strengthen Scientific Partnerships.

Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Nasser Al-Mulla, the UAE Education and Technology Sciences Attaché in Cairo, welcomed a delegation from Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies, subsidiary of the Emirates Science and Research Foundation.

The delegation was led by Dr. Firas Habbal, the Center’s President and Vice Chancellor of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Fawaz Habbal, Director-General of the Center and Board Member, along with accompanying members during their visit to Egypt.

The meeting included discussions on advancing scientific collaboration between the UAE and Egypt, highlighting the significant role of Egyptian expertise and the influence of its young scientists in research and studies. Both sides praised the Center’s social responsibility and the UAE’s commitment to supporting Arab youth by providing opportunities aligned with their creative potential, ensuring maximum utilization of their abilities.

Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Nasser Al-Mulla expressed his pride in the joint efforts, stating:

“We are proud of the shared endeavors between our two nations to support and enhance the stature of scientific research, particularly when these efforts focus on empowering Arab youth and fostering their creative potential to lead the region’s scientific future”.

Dr. Firas Habbal added: “Our primary goal is to build strong bridges for scientific collaboration between brotherly nations, offering research platforms that encourage innovation and invest in the energies of youth to enhance collective benefit and our ability to address future challenges”.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Emirates Scholar delegation and the UAE Education and Technology Sciences Attaché in Cairo exchanged commemorative shields as a gesture of appreciation for their shared scientific efforts and academic cooperation. Additionally, Sheikh Dr. Ammar Al-Mulla was presented with the outcomes of the Sharjah International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Linguistics, which was held at the American University of Sharjah last October, with his Excellency’s participation.
