President of the United Arab Emirates: The safety and security of citizens and residents are at the top of the government’s priorities.

The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God protect him, affirmed that the safety and security of citizens and residents are among the top priorities of the UAE government. He expressed his appreciation for the level of awareness and responsibility demonstrated by everyone during the climatic conditions witnessed by the country

He directed the relevant authorities to:

Expedite the assessment of the infrastructure in various regions of the country and document the damages caused by heavy rains.

Provide necessary support to all affected families by the consequences of the rains in different regions of the country.

Transfer the affected families to safe locations in coordination with local authorities.

His Highness also praised the efforts of all personnel in the emergency, national crisis, and specialized authorities involved in rescue and evacuation operations during the heavy rains, floods, and challenging weather conditions that the country experienced, which had a significant impact on preserving lives and properties.

He commended the great social solidarity demonstrated by the UAE community during the weather situation, which embodies the strong values of the country’s society.
