The World Biohack Summit Delivers a Resounding Success in Dubai
The World Biohack Summit held in Dubai on May 30 and 31, 2023, has been hailed as a tremendous success, bringing together experts, researchers, and enthusiasts from around the world. The event, organized by Limoverse and the UAE Genetic Diseases Association provided a platform for the exploration of lifestyle management, mitochondrial optimization, gut-brain symbiosis, cognition and sleep enhancement, and mind-body synergy with a coverage of epigenetics.
The two-day summit was under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and President of the UAE Genetic Diseases Association commenced with a bonding meditation session featuring an engaging stage performance. Sheikh Nahyan delivered the following speech:
“Welcome to all of you to this summit, which focuses on enhancing sustainable human performance. The goal of this summit is to help individuals live healthy lives and become the best versions of themselves. We are aware of the challenges we face in the United Arab Emirates and the world at large, such as the rising rates of obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. Therefore, we welcome your summit as it contributes to this important national endeavor.”
Sheikh Nahyan added, “Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, we are working on promoting excellent health and providing advanced medical care. We strive to provide the best healthcare for patients and raise awareness of health and disease prevention. We take pride in the United Arab Emirates becoming a distinguished center for comprehensive healthcare in the region and the world. We appreciate innovation and technological advancements. We recognize that as a biohacking community, you are committed to innovation and utilizing promising technologies in your field. You are involved in developing new ways to maintain our health and enhance our human performance. You strive for sustainable performance, moving away from short-term focus that affects our future well-being. You open new horizons and innovate in the field of health management and personal performance consciously.”
Therefore, we welcome your summit, which focuses on biohacking as a means to empower individuals to take control of their health. The summit aims to empower individuals with scientific, research, clinical, and practical tools to preserve their health and personal well-being using technology, virtual communication, and the proper and beneficial utilization of the global medical and health network. This comes in light of the ease of access to information, the conflicting facts surrounding it, and particularly the challenge of knowing its accuracy or source for individuals in general. The field of individual biohacking is distinguished by using scientifically validated processes and tools. Its global importance has increased significantly after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Sajeev Nair, Founder of Limoverse and Chairman of the World Biohack Summit, contributed to the opening remarks and defined the science behind biohacking. In addition, Dr. Maryam Matar, an Emirati genetics and epigenetic scientist, highlighted the significance of genetics in health management, along with many experts in the field.
The event continued with panel discussions, scientific papers, and presentations from esteemed speakers. Topics such as Epigenetic impact on Longevity by Dr. Mohamed Takwa, stem cells and longevity, modifying gene expressions, and the biohack secrets of Blue Zones were thoroughly discussed. Experts including Wendy Myers, Luke Coutinho, CJ Malhotra, and Hagen Thiers shed light on mitochondrial optimization, its implications for various diseases, and strategies for reversing biological age. The summit also delved into areas such as supplement stacks, human performance optimization, hyperbaric therapy, the biological impact of artificial EMF, and biohacks with Chinese Traditional Medicine by Dr. Jing Zang.
On the second day, the focus shifted to the symbiotic gut-supercharged brain connection. Dr. Wafaa Aayesh explored the topic of ‘Epigenetics, Early nutrition and long-term health: a target for disease prevention’. While Mr. Shmidt Rudi has spoken about precision medicine and its implication on biohacking. Manish Pole highlighted the role of yogis as original biohackers, while Andreas Brietfield discussed technology-powered biohacking through quantified self-measurements. The correlation between human design, quantum physics, and healing was explored by Katherina. The summit also delved into gut-brain synergy, restorative yoga, and managing emotions and thoughts through gut microbiome hacking.
The theme of cognition, sleep, and mind was covered extensively with presentations on flow states, biohacking tools for sleep optimization, neutralizing the impact of EMF, quantum health, hacks for peak performance, mind-body synergy, and brain hacks for manifesting dreams. The summit concluded with Sajeev Nair delivering the closing remarks, highlighting the power of mind-body synergy and the ability to hack one’s destiny.
The World Biohack Summit received high participation, with attendees experiencing a wealth of knowledge, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities. The event facilitated the exchange of groundbreaking ideas and cutting-edge research, contributing to the advancement of the human health and wellness field. Limoverse and the UAE Genetic Diseases Association are committed to continuing their efforts in promoting the understanding and application of biohacking for improved health and well-being.
