Founded in 2019, Emirates Scholar Center for Research & Studies has become the first scientific enabler dedicated to advancing research in the United Arab Emirates and the region. It is the first specialized entity in the country focused on indexing, publishing, and promoting scientific research, abstracts, and studies across diverse fields. The Center operates under the wise directives of the UAE leadership, contributing to the goals of the UAE Centennial 2071, which emphasizes building a knowledge-based, diverse, and sustainable economy led by Emirati talent.

The Center plays a pivotal role in managing, indexing, and disseminating scientific output, as well as organizing international conferences and overseeing regional scientific awards. Its mission extends beyond ensuring adherence to global standards in scholarly publishing and indexing; it also aims to foster an environment that encourages innovation, strengthens a culture of scientific research, and reinforces the UAE’s position as a global hub for knowledge production.

By integrating scientific publishing, academic capacity-building, and international partnerships, the Center empowers institutions and individuals to participate effectively in the global research community. It places particular emphasis on monitoring emerging global trends, transformative ideas, and influential phenomena, especially within the Gulf region, to provide actionable insights, practical strategies, and evidence-based policy recommendations. These efforts are supported by collaborative scientific activities involving academics, researchers, and decision-makers from within the UAE and abroad.

Today, the Center serves as a strategic bridge between scientific entities, government institutions, and the private sector.
