III International Autism Conference
The United Arab Emirates pays great attention to all segments of its society, especially the people of determination in the UAE, recognizing their value and potential. The country has established advanced social and health care facilities that provide comprehensive and high-quality services. This reflects the wise leadership’s vision, which spares no effort in empowering these groups, integrating them into society, and enabling them to contribute effectively to nation-building.
Within this inclusive framework, the hosting by Abu Dhabi of the 3rd International Conference for Autism Research, from 19 to 22 April, marks a continuation of the UAE’s achievements in supporting and rehabilitating various categories of people of determination, particularly autism people. This event is a vital platform for exchanging knowledge and strengthening autism support in the UAE, while exploring the latest research into autism reasons and interventions.
We are confident that such global gatherings will contribute to the continuous advancement of services and frameworks dedicated to the care and development of children with autism. These conferences enrich the collective experience of participants and specialists and reinforce the UAE’s position as a leader in inclusion and support for all.

FCHS is led from the Abu Dhabi campus in Mafraq, with additional campuses in Al Ain, Al Dhafra and Ajman. The college is currently seeking to expand beyond its bachelor programs by developing postgraduate diploma and master’s degree programs in specialized Health Science disciplines.

With the aim of aligning and consolidating the efforts made in the field of People of Determination care, and as per the directives of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may his soul rest in peace), The Late H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (may his soul rest in peace), issued, during his tenure as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the Law No. (2) dated April 19, 2004, establishing Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, as an umbrella for all humanitarian bodies, social services, People of Determination institutions, and any future bodies established in Abu Dhabi for humanitarian goals.
The Amiri Decree No. (7), for the year 2014, was issued on 29/05/2014, forming a new Board of Directors for Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
ZHO enjoys full financial and administrative independence and is run by its Board of Directors of 7 to 11 members. ZHO performs its activities as per the plans and directives of its Board to achieve its goals. The General Secretariat of the Organization takes all necessary actions and measures to ensure ZHO’s efficient functioning.
All ZHO’s centers and clubs are contributing to achieving these noble goals, with a keen interest in supporting the People of Determination Abu Dhabi community, and ensuring their full inclusion and empowerment across all aspects of society.
Lotus Holistic Center is a unique holistic medicine center located in Khalifa City A and Al Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi. We have a diverse group of doctors and adjunct staff from all over the world bringing their vast experience and expertise from their respective fields.
