Indexing of Emirates Scholar Scientific Journals on OpenAlex Platform

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – In a strategic step that strengthens the presence of Arab scientific research on the global stage, the Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies, Subsidiary of Emirates Science and Research Foundation, announced the indexing of all its peer-reviewed scientific journals on OpenAlex, one of the world’s leading open-access databases powered by artificial intelligence and specializing in research documentation and global scientific accessibility.

Joining the OpenAlex platform represents a significant milestone that allows researchers and academics worldwide to easily access Emirati and Arab research, reinforcing the international visibility of national scientific output and supporting the UAE’s position as a hub for knowledge and academic innovation.

This achievement adds to the center’s growing list of indexing efforts, as its journals have already been indexed on several international platforms, including Google Scholar, ISSN, ROAD, CrossRef, DOI, Gulf Scholar, and Semantic Scholar.

Emirates Scholar Center currently publishes 13 peer-reviewed and specialized scientific journals, covering a broad range of fields, including applied sciences, medicine, artificial intelligence, arts, media, culture, and humanities.
