Conclusion
This study examines French philosopher Roger Garaudy’s theory of dialogue of civilizations in the context of the twenty-first century, seeking to deconstruct the intellectual, political, and religious dimensions that shaped the course of this theory. The historical and descriptive approaches were adopted to analyze the multiple contexts that contributed to the development of the theory, starting from Garaudy’s intellectual journey and his ideological shifts, to the philosophical theorization of the concept of dialogue as an alternative to the theory of the clash of civilizations. The study also reviews the impact of the theory on the educational and intellectual field, and highlights its relationship with global shifts in cultural and religious discourse. It concludes that Garaudy’s theory represents a humanitarian project that requires institutionalization and activation in the contexts of education, literature, and global dialogue.
