Dubai Hosts Groundbreaking Biohacking Summit Focused on Longevity and Human Performance

The World Biohacking Summit held in Dubai on May 30–31, 2023, marked a turning point in the global conversation around biohacking, longevity, and human performance. Organized by Limoverse in collaboration with the UAE Genetic Diseases Association, the two-day summit united international experts, scientists, and wellness innovators under one roof to explore cutting-edge solutions in personalized health and high-performance living.
Under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and President of the UAE Genetic Diseases Association, the summit opened with a unifying meditation and a compelling stage performance. In his keynote address, Sheikh Nahyan praised the summit’s focus on sustainable health and innovation in preventive care. He emphasized the importance of empowering individuals through biohacking tools to take control of their health, especially in light of rising global health challenges.
Sheikh Nahyan stated, “The biohacking community brings innovation, data-driven wellness strategies, and advanced technologies that can reshape the future of healthcare. As a nation, the UAE is proud to be a regional hub for integrated and futuristic medical practices.”
The event covered a wide spectrum of biohacking longevity topics including mitochondrial optimization, gut-brain synergy, sleep performance, and epigenetics. Renowned speakers such as Dr. Sajeev Nair (Founder of Limoverse), Dr. Maryam Matar (Emirati expert in genetics and epigenetics), and Wendy Myers addressed the role of biohacking in human performance, cognitive function, and reversing biological age.
Scientific discussions explored practical interventions like stem cell therapy, precision medicine, hyperbaric oxygen treatments, Traditional Chinese Medicine biohacks, and electromagnetic field (EMF) mitigation techniques. The summit also featured panels on longevity-focused nutrition, genetic expression modulation, and Blue Zone lifestyle insights.
Day two of the summit focused heavily on the gut-brain axis, where leading voices like Dr. Wafaa Aayesh and Schmidt Rudi presented on epigenetic nutrition, disease prevention, and precision medicine as an essential biohacking tool.
Additional highlights included:
- Yoga as ancient biohacking (Manish Pole)
- Quantified self and wearable tech (Andreas Brietfield)
- Quantum healing and emotional regulation via gut microbiome
The summit concluded with a powerful closing by Sajeev Nair, reinforcing the potential of mind-body synergy in hacking one’s destiny and achieving peak wellness.
Thanks to the joint efforts of Limoverse and the UAE Genetic Diseases Association, the biohacking summit successfully advanced public understanding of how personalized, data-driven wellness strategies can optimize human performance and extend healthspan. The event paved the way for future breakthroughs in biohacking longevity and epigenetic medicine in the UAE and beyond.
