Conclusion

This research aims to analyze the strategic impacts of cybersecurity on the technological dimension of national security in Egypt, in light of the rapid digital transformation and the continuous increase of cyber threats. The research employs the PESTELISM model to analyze the institutional, legal, political, environmental, social, technological, innovative, and military dimensions related to digital security. The research relies on a forward-looking analytical approach supported by national and international statistics and security reports issued by governmental institutions such as the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). The research results show that the technological dimension is one of the most affected by cyber challenges, especially in light of the high reliance on foreign solutions for digital protection, and the existence of gaps in institutional readiness and emergency response. The research proposes the establishment of a unified national council for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, in addition to updating legislation, stimulating local innovation in digital defense systems, and building a digital societal culture that ensures the sustainability of national technological security.
