III International Autism Conference
The United Arab Emirates pays great attention to its people of different segments, in particular those of determination as it worked to open social and health care homes that provide them with comprehensive care and quality services in order to achieve the great vision of the wise leadership, which spares no effort to serve these groups and ensure their empowerment and integration into society, and exploitation of their potential in work and building.
The hosting by Abu Dhabi of the 3rd International Conference for Autism Research, from 19 to 22 April, builds on previous successes in the field of care and rehabilitation of various groups of people of determination, especially those with autism.
We are fully hopeful that these successes will continue through this global gathering, in which experience is exchanged, fruitful experiences are presented and various topics are discussed in an objective and scientific manner that enriches the expertise and experiences of all participants and specialists in this field and supports the development of services and means of care and rehabilitation for children with autism.

The college is currently seeking to expand beyond its bachelor programs by developing postgraduate diploma and master’s degree programs in specialized Health Science disciplines.

With the aim of aligning and consolidating the efforts made in the field of People of Determination care, and as per the directives of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may his soul rest in peace),The Late H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan ,( (may his soul rest in peace) , issued, during his tenure as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the Law No. (2) dated April 19, 2004, establishing Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, as an umbrella for all humanitarian bodies, social services, people of determination institutions and any future bodies established in Abu Dhabi for humanitarian goals. The Amiri decree No. (7), for the year 2014, has been issued, on 29/05/2014, forming a new Board of Directors for Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
ZHO enjoys full financial and administrative independence and is run by its Board of Directors of 7 to 11 members. ZHO performs its activities as per the plans and directives of its Board to achieve its goals. The General Secretariat of the Organization takes all necessary actions and measures to ensure ZHO’s efficient functioning. All ZHO’s Centers and clubs are contributing to achieving the noble goals, showing a keen interest in this segment of society.
