Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education
The 4th Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education brings together educators, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to explore and address the pressing challenges and opportunities in the K12 and Early Childhood educational sector. The summit’s theme underscores the essential components needed to prepare our educational systems for the future. With the gathering of so many educators, the summit helps facilitate the conversation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, promoting equity, and adopting sustainable practices. Participants will experience a robust, inclusive, and forward-thinking educational environment where sessions and training that take place at the summit will focus on topics such as enhancing teacher skills, promoting equity within schools, and adopting innovative strategies to prepare students for future challenges.
With a diverse set of session types and speakers, the summit will also provide ample opportunities for networking and collaboration among educators, school leaders, policymakers, and industry experts. Attendees will have the chance to exchange ideas, share best practices, and form partnerships that will drive educational innovation and improvement.These approaches constitute an exciting and promising new form of educational change, one that is focused on authentic problems of practice, grounded in sound measurement, disciplined by rigorous research methods, broadly engaging and collaborative in its execution, and seeking to produce knowledge that contributes directly to the improvement of practice.

To accomplish these aims, the Foundation pursues two strategic aims:

Carnegie will not do this work alone. Partnerships are key to execution and having impact at scale. Our institutional commitment to equity compels us to collaborate in new ways with new partners using new mechanisms to invite new stakeholders to engage, solve problems, build knowledge, and have impact.
The Sharjah Private Education Authority was established by Emiri Decree No. 45 of 2018 issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Alqasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah – may Allah protect him. SPEA is the local authority responsible for regulating private education in the emirate. This includes overseeing private educational institutions in Sharjah that provide educational, pedagogical, technical, and vocational training services.
