Emirates Scholar Participates in the Geo-Governance Summit Middle East

Emirates Scholar Center for Research & Studies participated in the Geo-Governance Summit Middle East, where Dr. Fawaz Habbal, Director-General and Board of Trustees Member of the Center, delivered a session titled:
“Research and Innovation Centers: Nurturing Future Workforce.”
During his address, Dr. Fawaz discussed the pivotal role of research centers in building a new generation of national talents capable of keeping pace with rapid technological and scientific transformations. He emphasized the importance of integrating academic education with practical application to prepare skilled leaders equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to drive sustainable development in the UAE and the region.
He also highlighted that the future of development depends on the ability of academic and research institutions to translate scientific ideas into practical solutions, calling for stronger collaboration between universities and the public and private sectors to ensure the sustainability of research and its alignment with community and market needs.
During his talk, he stated: “Collaboration and partnership are key components in activating scientific research for urban planning studies”.
This participation reaffirms the Center’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with local and international institutions, fostering knowledge exchange, and unifying research efforts to support national development goals — reinforcing the UAE’s leadership in scientific research and innovation.
