Abstract

This study dealt with the topic of environmental media and its role in promoting the concept of environmental security, as it sought to highlight the importance of the environment and environmental security and highlight how to employ this specialized media style in promoting the concept of environmental security, through its contribution to providing individuals with culture, awareness and environmental education based on practical ways and mechanisms It helps to achieve this, as the primary objective of environmental media is to contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment, and thus work to achieve and enhance environmental security. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, as a holistic approach, and used the questionnaire tool as the main tool for collecting information. The questionnaire was designed with scientific foundations and controls; The study population was determined in a sample of male and female university students, consisting of one hundred male and female students. The time frame of the study was determined for the period from the beginning of April to the beginning of August 2022 AD, while the spatial framework was determined in the Emirati universities, in the United Arab Emirates, and the validity of the analysis tool used was verified. Conducting the test, re-testing the “Test-Pre-Test” and applying it to an exploratory sample outside the study period; The stability rate reached 89.8%, which confirms the validity of the tool. The Hollister equation was used to test the stability of the tool, where the two coders agreed on the percentage (90.2%), and the percentage confirms the stability of the analysis tool; The researcher used statistical procedures to analyze the study data.
