UAE researchers and Jordan’s National Union Party discuss ways to cooperate in scientific and research fields

The Emirates Research Center and the Jordanian National Union Party discussed ways to enhance cooperation, understanding and partnership between the two parties in a number of areas of common interest, especially in the fields of scientific publishing, research and development

This came during the visit of a delegation from the Center to the National Union Party in Jordan, headed by Dr. Firas Habbal, President of the Emirates Research Center and Dr. Fawaz Habbal, President of Geminus Investment Group and Secretary General of the Emirates Research Center, where they met with Dr. Rami Shaheen, Secretary General of the Union Party, Dr. Rima Al Omari, Assistant Secretary General, and other distinguished members of the party.

Dr. Habbal, President of the UAE Research Center, stressed that the two entities share many common goals, especially in terms of providing content that focuses on the importance of scientific research and the UAE’s role in pioneering scientific research, in order to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to support innovative initiatives and scientific research that enhance the country’s position as a leading model in the research sector and advanced industries.

Dr. Rami Shaheen, Secretary General of the National Union Party, praised the pivotal and important role played by the Emirates Researchers Center in supporting the scientific research movement at the regional and global levels, its noble scientific mission, its objectives that encourage knowledge and scientific creativity, as well as its strategy to empower young researchers

Both parties appreciated the constructive spirit of cooperation and understanding between the UAE Researchers Center and the National Union Party, and affirmed their determination to strengthen the relationship of cooperation and understanding in the future, and promote means of understanding to support research and scientific results at the Arab and international levels, in addition to effectively contributing to empowering young researchers and introducing them to their creative achievements through the UAE Researchers Center’s platform and portal.
