Sheikha Fatima approves formation of Supreme Committee for her Excellence and Community Intelligence Program’s 8th edition

ABU DHABI, 8th August,

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, “Mother of the Nation,” has approved the formation of the Supreme Committee for her Excellence and Community Intelligence Program in its 8th edition, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs’ Families Affairs.

The committee includes H.E. Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, as Vice Chairman; H.E. Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office; H.E. Sarah Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of Education; H.E. Ali Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development Foundation; H.E. Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi; H.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; H.E. Abdullah Abdulali Al Humaidan, Secretary General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination; H.E. Maryam Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Family Development Foundation; H.E. Ahmed Fadhel Almehairbi, Acting Director-General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality; and Mrs Ousha Salem Al Suwaidi, Project Manager at the Family Development Foundation, as committee member and rapporteur.

Sheikha Fatima affirmed that the committee’s formation reflects the leadership’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and societal innovation, recognising inspiring role models and exceptional achievers, and enhancing quality of life, thereby consolidating the UAE’s status as a global hub for humanitarian excellence.

She praised the support and wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, noting that the UAE’s developmental and humanitarian progress is the result of leadership that places people at the heart of its priorities, empowering them to contribute to nation-building.

Sheikha Fatima highlighted that the programme continues to expand its categories and standards, encouraging community participation and promoting a culture of recognition and positive motivation, positioning it as a leading national platform for best practices and a more cohesive, advanced society.
