Dubai Police and Emirates scholar sign a MOU to support scientific research

In line with the leadership’s vision and the strategic directions of the state, and in a bid to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between Dubai Police General Headquarters and Emirates scholar center,
both sides agreed on the importance of this memorandum in harnessing scientific research to serve the tourist security sector and the nation.
The signing took place between His Excellency Major Khalfan Obaid Al Jalaf, on behalf of the Director of the Criminal Investigations Department of Dubai Police, on one side,
and Dr. Firas Habbal, President of Emirates scholar center for Research and Studies and Vice Chairman of its Board of Trustees, on the other side,
in the presence of Dr. Fawaz Habbal, the Secretary-General of the center and a member of its Board of Trustees, Mr. Khaled Al Ali, the center’s Secretary and a member of its Board of Trustees, and First Lieutenant Daoud Abdullah Al Hammadi, representing the Tourist Police Department.
On the sidelines of the memorandum, His Excellency Major Khalfan Obaid Al Jalaf stated that this memorandum aims to reinforce the importance of coordination between the scientific research and tourist security sectors to enhance the tourist security sector and provide all the necessary resources needed to serve the country.
Dr. Firas Habbal, on his part, affirmed that this collaboration underscores the effective role of scientific research in advancing various sectors of community service and its impact on human welfare.
additionally, Both parties also agreed that scientific research is the tool to support decision-making in advanced societies and is also the mirror of leadership for envisioning the future.
They expressed their happiness in signing this memorandum and their belief in its significant impact on both sectors.
