3rd European Arab Medical Congress
The Emirates Scholar Center for Research & Studies — in partnership with the Zayed Authority for People of Determination and the Emirates Medical Association, and in collaboration with the European Medical Association and the Arab Med Union in Europe — welcomes you to the European Arab Medical Congress (EAMC), 11-13 Dec 2026, in Abu Dhabi.
This year EAMC convenes under the theme Advancing Mental Health and Rehabilitation for Sustainable Wellbeing, placing mental health and rehabilitation at the centre of a wider conversation about sustainable wellbeing and the strength of the family — in full alignment with the UAE’s Year of Family. Across three days, an international speakers of clinicians, scientists, policymakers and rehabilitation specialists will examine how the science of recovery can be made more durable, more inclusive and more deeply rooted in the families and communities it serves.
EAMC 2026 is at once a scientific congress and a platform for partnership. For the medical community it offers peer-reviewed science, accredited CME and practical learning across eight tracks; for partners it offers a credible, purpose-led platform aligned with a genuine social mission. Standard delegate registration is free — opening the science to the widest possible community.

With the aim of aligning and consolidating the efforts made in the field of People of Determination care, and as per the directives of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may his soul rest in peace), The Late H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (may his soul rest in peace), issued, during his tenure as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the Law No. (2) dated April 19, 2004, establishing Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, as an umbrella for all humanitarian bodies, social services, People of Determination institutions, and any future bodies established in Abu Dhabi for humanitarian goals.
The Amiri Decree No. (7), for the year 2014, was issued on 29/05/2014, forming a new Board of Directors for Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
ZHO enjoys full financial and administrative independence and is run by its Board of Directors of 7 to 11 members. ZHO performs its activities as per the plans and directives of its Board to achieve its goals. The General Secretariat of the Organization takes all necessary actions and measures to ensure ZHO’s efficient functioning.
All ZHO’s centers and clubs are contributing to achieving these noble goals, with a keen interest in supporting the People of Determination Abu Dhabi community, and ensuring their full inclusion and empowerment across all aspects of society.
Established in 2019, Emirates Scholar Center for Research & Studies (ESRC) stands as the first specialised entity in the United Arab Emirates dedicated to indexing, publishing, and promoting scientific research, abstracts, and studies across diverse academic and professional fields.
Operating under the wise directives of the UAE’s leadership, Emirates Scholar contributes directly to the goals of the UAE Centennial 2071 — a national roadmap to build a knowledge-based, diversified, and sustainable economy led by distinguished Emirati talent. The Center plays a pivotal role in managing, indexing, and disseminating scientific output, organising international conferences, and overseeing regional scientific awards across the Middle East.
