International dialogue of civilization and tolerance conference 2024
The International Conference on the Dialogue of Civilization and Tolerance will welcome experts from academia, politics, and other walks of life together to jointly tackle the questions at the core of the Dialogue of Civilizations. The conference will give a clear picture of the many aspects that are involved in a meaningful dialogue of civilizations. It will show that even for those who have been much involved in issues of dialogue, discussions are not always easy, when they touch upon specific values and norms. It will also show that if there is agreement among all parties involved that it is better to talk than to fight each other, dialogue is possible and leads to new and creative solutions to the common problems facing mankind.
IDCT will explore the Dialogue of Civilizations from various perspectives, such as promoting dialogue among civilizations, lessons from history, multicultural society and cultural transformation, perspectives from Asia, universality versus Particularity? understanding different civilizations, political aspects of the Dialogue among civilizations, etc.

The Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies (ESCRS) is an independent center that seeks to enrich public dialogue, and decision support, and to promote academic research related to future trends.
ESCRS was established to take responsibility for research development in the United Arab Emirates and the Arab region. As stated in its founding agreement, our mission is to contribute to the development of scientific research in the United Arab Emirates.
We monitor current and potential trends, unconventional ideas, and impending phenomena that contribute to shaping the future in the short term. especially in the Gulf region, we analyze and evaluate them. In addition, we present perceived alternatives for dealing with trends using advanced methodologies and scholarly activities that engage academics, researchers, and public figures from the UAE and abroad.
Venue
The multi-award-winning Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is the largest exhibition venue in the Middle East and is just 15 minutes from Zayed International Airport The venue features an unparalleled 153,678 sqm of indoor and outdoor event space. This includes 12 interconnected exhibition halls, an atrium, concourse space, a 6000 capacity ICC, two conference halls as well 21 meeting rooms. Marina Hall, due to open in Autumn 2022, will be the largest hall of its kind in the region, a 10,000 sqm space that enables organisers to create showcases both on and off the water. The hall will be connected to ADNEC via a footbridge and easily accessible from Khaleej Al Arabi Street.ADNEC also features a wide range of restaurants, cafés, shops, hotels, business facilities and on-site service providers.
