The Inaugural European Arab Medical Congress Commences in Abu Dhabi

The European Arab Medical Congress (EAMC) officially begins today in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone in fostering international medical collaboration. Organized by Emirates Scholar Center for Research & Studies, a subsidiary of the Emirates Science and Research Foundation, in partnership with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and in collaboration with the Arab Medical Union in Europe and the European Medical Association, the event is supported by the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau.

Hosted at the headquarters of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, the congress runs from December 11 to 13 and serves as a prominent international forum, gathering experts in medicine, research, and technology from the UAE and across Europe.

The opening session witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including H.E. Dr. Abdulla Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council and Chancellor of the Emirates Scholar Center for Research & Studies; H.E. Dr. Fayza AlYafei, Executive Director of the Care Quality Sector at the Abu Dhabi Department of Health; H.E. Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, and H.E. Abdulla Al Humaidan, General Secretary of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, these thought leaders shared their perspectives on the UAE’s leadership in advancing global healthcare systems.

H.E. Dr. Abdulla Belhaif Al Nuaimi remarked:

With participation from over 500 medical professionals, more than 60 expert speakers, and 20 leading global institutions, EAMC provides an exceptional platform for exploring the future of healthcare, promoting innovation, and exchanging expertise.

H.E. Dr. Fayza AlYafei highlighted:
