Abstract
The rapid expansion of digital media has significantly transformed how young people interact, communicate, and form their identities. Social media platforms, online communities, and AI-driven systems have become central to youth culture, influencing how they see themselves and others. Unlike previous generations, today’s youth grow up in a highly connected digital environment where identity is not only shaped offline but also continuously constructed and reconstructed-online.
While digital spaces provide opportunities for creativity, self-expression, and connection, they also raise important questions about inclusion, respect, and ethical engagement. This paper examines how youth navigate these digital environments and how respect and dialogue can foster healthier and more inclusive online communities.
