Abstract
Listener is the most important area of skills, and it directly influences the quality of life. In a case of typical development these skills shape independently within daily interactions with social environment and rely on pivotal skills of joint attention. If we see that the usual way of improvement of the listener skills does not work, we know that it will be a huge task for teachers in a collaboration with parents to teach a child to understand vocal speech. In some cases, despite all our efforts, listener skills do not improve. I would like to discuss what we should do in these cases, what strategy we prefer and how to choose a strategy, how to decide that this is the right time to change your strategy.
