IDCT 2025 Showcases Music as a Bridge for Cultural Dialogue with Jarak Qaribak’s Performance

Abu Dhabi, UAE – February 2025 – The International Dialogue of Civilizations & Tolerance Conference (IDCT 2025) highlighted the power of music in fostering cross-cultural understanding with a captivating performance by Jarak Qaribak, led by renowned Israeli musician Dudu Tassa.
Held at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center, the event was attended by H.E. Yossi Shelley, the Ambassador of Israel to the UAE, top thought leaders, and cultural figures in the UAE, reinforcing the role of music as a universal language of peace. Jarak Qaribak’s unique sound, inspired by the musical traditions of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco, mesmerized the audience, celebrating the region’s shared heritage through reimagined love songs.
Following the performance, Dr. Fawaz Habbal, Conference President and Director-General of the Emirates Scholar Center, and Dr. Firas Habbal, President of the Center and Vice-Chancellor of Board of trustees, honored Dudu Tassa for his contributions to cultural dialogue through music.
