Abstract
The term “twice-exceptional” is becoming increasingly mainstream, but best practices in identification remain illusive. In this presentation, I will examine what researchers are suggesting are best practices in identification of students with disabilities for talent development opportunities. I will focus on ways to maximize their potential while accommodating for their behavioral, psychological, and/or social challenges in home and educational settings.
